Roles and missions of the appointed experts (in the evaluation process of the calls for proposals)

• Prior to the selection process, a guideline including eligibility and evaluation criteria as well as the call text and conditions will be sent to the expert ; a preparatory meeting may be organized with the expert committee.
• Once you are appointed as an expert, you will be contacted for the evaluation purpose of the research proposals;
• A 1st assessment step (preselection) of the application files (project description, applicant profile) will be requested in order to proceed to the ranking of fellowship applicants according to specific criteria and defined timelines for each calls;
• Then, a 2nd assessment step is proposed to the preselected applicants who are invited for an interview prior to the final decision;
• As an expert, you will assist the Governing board of Genopole in the final decision.
  
• A maximum of 3 proposals may be submitted to each expert upon her/his agreement.
